New Year Reads

I’m kicking off the New Year with a challenge that I’ve never undertaken before, I’m doing a reading schedule. My experience this past year has taught me that- though sometimes I truly can’t stand it- stability, scheduling, and routine are necessary for my mental well-being. In that spirit, I’ve decided to take that approach with my reading and my 2021 Goodreads challenge. This past year my goal was 36 books and that was doable, but still difficult. This year I’d rather cut myself a break and go with 26, or about one book every two weeks, and publish my thoughts as I go.

I may swap out books or scatter in some short stories or lighter reads now and then, but if I get through a good chunk of the books I currently have on my list, I’ll consider that a win.
